BUS TRAVEL INFORMATION

Please review the following details if you’ll be traveling to Bucks County River Country by School bus or Charter bus,Β  PLEASE NOTE that there are Weight limitations for bridges that are often used to travel to River Country and more importantly please forward the following information to the individuals/transportation company, or driver involved. Not all bridges between New Jersey have the weight limit or width to accommodate School or Charter buses, so this sections is very important for groups arriving by bus.

Although most of you will welcome the ability to just plain drive here, without the need for a secondary shuttle bus, there are a few very important items to be aware of- detours & weight limitations. If by some chance you become lost or need assistance on the road, you can still call us from the road and we will talk you in: (215) 297-5000.

Bus Weight Limits & Parking 🚌

In order to get to River Country, all vehicles must cross a small one lane bridge that crosses a canal.

That Bridge has a weight limit of 15 Tons, therefore ONLY School Buses (or smaller) can drive to River Country directly. If you are arriving by School Bus, please merely let us know, and we will have our parking staff direct you to the area in our lot for School buses.

If you are arriving by a Charter (also known as “Coach” bus), then your bus must park off site and we will arrange to either shuttle your group to River Country, or our staff escort them by foot. If you are arriving by Charter Bus PLEASE call River Country (215) 297.5000 to co-ordinate with the bus company and or driver.

We have found over the years that although we try to illustrate how NOT to get here, some bus companies do not convey the message correctly to the driver, and then there is a Gigantic Bus in a place it should not be.

Please call us with the name of a contact person that will be on the bus with their cellphone number, so that we can talk them in or answer questions, or alert them to detours that may have just sprung up. (215) 297.5000

For more specific directions based on where you will be traveling from, please consult the additional information below. Have questions? Give us a call!
